Editorial policy

Our goal is to be the most trustworthy plain-English reference for AI questions. These are the rules our answers follow.

Accuracy

  • We never invent statistics. If a number is uncertain, we give the accepted range and say so.
  • Prices, plans, and model versions are checked against the vendor’s official pricing or docs page and dated.
  • For anything touching health, money, law, or safety, we cite government, academic, or official sources — at least two.

Corrections

When we learn an answer is wrong or stale, we fix it and update the “Updated” date on the page. Significant corrections are noted in the answer.

What we are not

These answers explain how things work. They are not legal, medical, or financial advice. For decisions with real consequences, talk to a qualified professional.

AI & automation disclosure

Answers are drafted with AI assistance and reviewed against cited sources, prioritizing primary and official material where available. The editorial standards on this page apply to every page regardless of how it was drafted. The source and maintenance ledger exposes the stored citation metadata without treating it as proof of current factual verification.
