Methodology

This page explains exactly what this index is — and what it is not — so you can judge it yourself.

How questions were collected

We ran a systematic sweep across 49 AI tools and topics, pulling the questions people actually ask from Google’s People Also Ask boxes, vendor help centres and FAQs, Reddit, Quora, and search results. After de-duplication that left 1000 unique questions, each with a link back to where it was found.

Why there are no rankings yet

A ranking needs measured demand. We currently hold verified search-volume data for only a small fraction of these questions, so we do not publish a numbered ranking. We could estimate one — and it would look authoritative and be largely invented. We would rather show you a complete, honest index and add rankings when the measurement is real.

When search-volume data covers the corpus, this page becomes a ranked table and every question shows its monthly search volume.

What this index is not

  • It is not a log of prompts sent to AI assistants. No such public data exists; anyone claiming otherwise is guessing.
  • It is not a ranking. Order here is by tool and topic, not popularity.
  • It is not exhaustive — it covers the 49 tools and topics people ask about most, not every AI product.

How answers are written

Each answer gives a direct reply first, then explains the mechanism from first principles, with an example and cited sources. Prices, limits and model names are checked against the vendor’s official pages and dated. See our editorial policy.
